Attribute Groups

Attribute Groups in SellEnvo help organize product attributes into logical categories. Instead of managing a large list of individual attributes, attribute groups allow you to structure related attributes together.

For example, attributes like Color, Size, and Material can be grouped under a section such as Product Specifications, while attributes like Weight, Width, and Height may belong to a Dimensions group.

Using attribute groups makes product templates easier to manage and improves the structure of product data.

Accessing Attribute Groups

To manage attribute groups:

  1. Navigate to System Settings from the main navigation menu.
  2. In the left sidebar, expand Products.
  3. Click Attribute Groups.

This page displays all existing attribute groups configured in the system.

From here you can view, edit, or create attribute groups used across product templates.

Creating an Attribute Group

To create a new attribute group:

  1. Click Add Attribute Group.
  2. Enter the Group Name.
  3. Add the attributes that should belong to this group.
  4. Save the changes.

The new attribute group will now be available when configuring product templates.

Managing Attribute Groups

Attribute groups can be modified at any time.

You can:

  • Edit an existing group to update its name or attributes.
  • Add new attributes to expand the group.
  • Remove attributes that are no longer needed.

Changes made to attribute groups will automatically apply wherever those groups are used within product templates.

Benefits of Using Attribute Groups

Organizing attributes into groups helps improve product data management by:

  • Structuring product information more clearly
  • Simplifying template configuration
  • Improving consistency across product entries
  • Making it easier to manage large product catalogs

Attribute groups are especially useful when managing products with many attributes or when working with multiple product templates.
