Archiving a product allows you to remove it from active product lists without permanently deleting it from the system. This is useful when a product is no longer being sold but you still want to keep its historical data.
Archiving a Product from the Product Catalog
To archive a product:
2.Open Product Catalog.
5.Select Archive.
Confirming the Archive Action
After selecting Archive, a confirmation message will appear.
The system will display a warning message asking:
“Are you sure you want to archive this product?”
You will have two options:
- Cancel – Stops the action and keeps the product active.
- OK – Confirms the action and archives the product.
Once confirmed, the product will be archived and removed from the active product catalog view.
When to Archive a Product
Archiving is useful when:
- A product is discontinued
- You want to clean up the active catalog
- You want to keep historical data without deleting the product
Archived products can still be kept for reference without affecting the active product list.
