The Creating a New Import Job feature allows you to define and configure how data is imported into the system.
You can upload files, map fields, and set scheduling options to automate data imports.

How to Access

  1. Go to Sellenvo Dashboard
  2. Click on Tools & Utilities
  3. Select Data Importer
  4. Click on Add New Importer

Import Setup Steps

Creating a new import job involves multiple steps:

Step 1: CSV Setup

In this step, you define the source and structure of your import file.

  • Import Source: Upload your file (e.g., CSV file)
  • Field Separator: Select how fields are separated (e.g., comma, semicolon)
  • Import Model: Choose the data model that matches your file

Click Next to proceed.

Step 2: Field Mapping – Data Sync

In this step, you map your file columns to system fields.

  • Match each column from your file to the corresponding system field
  • Ensure all required fields are correctly mapped
  • Validate mappings to avoid data inconsistencies

Click Next to continue.

Step 3: Advanced Settings

Configure additional import options (if available):

  • Customize import behavior
  • Define handling rules for specific data cases

Click Next to proceed.

Step 4: Import Schedule – Frequency Setup

Define how and when the import should run:

  • Set the frequency (e.g., manual, hourly, daily)
  • Configure scheduling options based on your needs

Finalizing the Import Job

After completing all steps:

  • Review your configuration
  • Save the import job
  • Enable it if you want it to run automatically

Notes

  • Ensure your file format matches the selected import model
  • Incorrect field mapping may lead to failed imports
  • Always review data after import to ensure accuracy
  • Use scheduling carefully to avoid duplicate or conflicting imports
