Data Export

The Data Export tool allows you to automatically export data from the system based on defined configurations and schedules.
It helps streamline reporting, integrations, and data sharing by generating export files that can be downloaded or processed externally.


How to Access Data Export

  1. Go to Sellenvo Dashboard
  2. Click on Tools & Utilities from the top navigation menu
  3. Select Data Exporter

Page Overview

The Data Export page displays a list of configured export jobs with the following details:

  • Name: The name of the export job
  • Run Interval: Frequency of the export (e.g., every 15 minutes, hourly, daily, monthly)
  • Success: Number of successful export executions
  • Failed: Number of failed export attempts
  • Next Scheduled Run: The next time the export will run automatically
  • Status: Indicates whether the export job is active or inactive
  • Actions: Options to manage the export job

Available Actions

You can perform the following actions:

  • Enable / Disable: Toggle the export job on or off
  • Edit: Modify the export configuration
  • Dropdown Options: Access additional actions (if available)
  • Add New Exporter: Create a new export job using the Add New Exporter button

Managing Export Jobs

From the Data Export page, you can:

  • View all configured export jobs
  • Enable or disable export jobs as needed
  • Edit existing export configurations
  • Monitor execution history using success and failure indicators

Export Configuration Overview

When creating or editing an export job, the system provides a configuration interface that includes:

Exporter Feed Settings

  • Connection Method: Defines how the export file will be generated (e.g., download file)
  • Data Separator: Specifies how data fields are separated in the exported file
  • Data Model: Defines the dataset structure to be exported
  • File Format: Select the output file format

Field Mapping

Allows you to map system data fields to export file columns, ensuring the exported data matches your required structure.

Advanced Settings

Additional configuration options for customizing the export behavior (if available).


Data Exporter – Reports & Logs

The Data Exporter – Reports & Logs section allows you to review export activity and track execution logs.
It helps monitor export performance and identify issues during processing.


Background Export Jobs

The Background Export Jobs section allows you to track export processes that run in the background.
It provides visibility into execution progress, status, and file availability.


Page Overview (Background Export Jobs)

This page displays a list of background export jobs with the following details:

  • Export Type: Type of exported data
  • Export Progress: Progress of the export job (e.g., completed vs total records)
  • Export Source: Source of the export
  • Export Status: Current status of the export job (e.g., DONE)
  • Created Date/Time: When the export job was initiated
  • Expiry Date/Time: When the exported file will expire
  • Actions: Available actions such as downloading the exported file

  • Download File: Download the generated export file
  • Dropdown Options: Access additional actions (if available)

How to Use Background Export Jobs

This section helps you:

  • Monitor export job progress
  • Verify successful completion of exports
  • Download exported files when available
  • Track export history and execution timelines

Notes

  • Ensure export jobs are enabled to run automatically
  • Monitor failed runs to identify and resolve issues
  • Use appropriate run intervals based on business needs
  • Export files may expire after a certain period
  • Download files before the expiry date
  • Completed jobs are marked as DONE
