Account Settings & Preferences

After successfully creating your account, configuring your general settings is the next essential step to prepare your workspace. This section allows you to define core operational variables, such as your trading entity name, default currency, time zone, and standard units of measurement. Properly setting up these configurations from the beginning ensures accurate financial reporting, correct log timestamps, and seamless multi-channel data integration.

Benefits

  • Unified Metrics: Standardize weight and length formats across all platforms to prevent shipping calculation issues.
  • Localized Workspace: Align the system’s currency and time zone with your physical operations for clear and accurate analytics.
  • System Consistency: Establish initial parameters that automatically apply when connecting external sales channels.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. From the top navigation bar of your main dashboard, click on the “Settings” tab.
  2. From the dropdown menu, select “General”.
  3. Under the “Basic Information” section, configure the following fields:
    • Default Currency: Choose your primary business currency (e.g., USD, SAR, AED) from the dropdown list.
    • Trading Entity: Enter your officially registered business or brand name.
    • User Country: Confirm your primary operational country.
  4. Move to the “Units of Measurement” section to set your default package scales:
    • Weight Unit: Choose your preferred unit for item weight (e.g., Kilograms – kg).
    • Length Unit: Choose your preferred unit for package dimensions (e.g., Centimeters – cm).
  5. Scroll down to the “Variables” section to configure your local time tracking:
    • Time Zone: Select your local time zone from the list to ensure all synchronized data and order tracking timestamps match your operational hours.
  6. Once all fields are updated, make sure to save your changes to apply them across the platform.
